Tips and inspiration

The pine cone-shaped mould is ideal for creating moulded candles that evoke nature, winter and authenticity. Try waxes tinted in warm or frosted tones to heighten the visual, seasonal effect. This type of candle lends itself particularly well to end-of-year collections, for autumn, winter or even Christmas, or to rustic chic settings.

To win over your customers, pair it with woody, resinous or spicy scents that evoke the forest and the festive season, and highlight the unique decorative appeal of this handmade creation.

Moulded candles

If you want to make moulded candles with this pine cone silicone mould, you will need to pierce the mould, for example with a mould needle, and thread through a wick.

The TDB team recommends its flat or round wicks on spools for moulded candles, ideal for getting started.

This is a starting point only: it is then up to you to run your own tests depending on the wicks and waxes you use.
