Colouring your reed and car diffusers
This dye is solvent-based: it blends into a DPM (dipropylene glycol) base just as it does into isopropyl myristate mixes, to tint the liquid of your reed diffusers and car diffusers.
- Blending in: add the dye to the base once it has been mixed with the fragrance, stir slowly until the solution is perfectly clear, then let it rest before putting the reeds in.
- Dosage: a few drops are enough. Add them gradually: the colour always reads deeper in the bottle than it does in use.
- Reeds and felts: the colour travels up rattan or fibre reeds and tints the felt of car diffusers. It is a sought-after effect, but an irreversible one.
- Precaution: a coloured liquid stains. Use a tightly closed bottle and protect the surface while filling.
